Poems to Frank

From Aunt Darlene

When I saw you in that bed
All I could do is shake my head

I do not understand
why God wanted to take this little man

I laid in bed and cried that night
The thunder roared the lightning bright

It made me smile of the static you made
As you entered it began to fade

I knew then you would be all right
The storm you made was a beautiful sight

Not a day will go by that I will not think of you
For you are a very special nephew

Love you always
Aunt Darlene

Everyday I prayed
that it would never come to this day

But when I saw you at rest
I knew in my heart it was for the best

You went through so much
and all the lives you have touched

I don't understand why this day has come
for you are the only one - my brothers son

Love you always
Aunt Darlene
